Julia Bulette!

Julia C. Bulette was perhaps Virginia City’s most infamous “working girl”, as well as a cherished member of Virginia Company #1’s volunteer fire department.

In her own words, Julia will share with her audience, a world so often misunderstood, with dignity and insight.  She will tell of her most exciting life in which she was welcomed at society venues such as Maguire’s Opera House, yet shunned on the street by the local women citizens. And, she will recount her scandalous murder and what became of the man blamed for it.
