We are the only full service hotel in the Virginia City area! That means we have an onsite restaurant and bar! No need to drive after dinner and drinks! Just retire to your room or cabin for the evening. Come hang out at the bar that was frequented by Mark Twain back in the day!

Take the train from our hotel to Virginia City! Avoid the parking problems and hassles of driving up the hill to Virginia City! Please note that this is especially important during any of the “special event” days in Virginia City! Simply pick up a schedule in our office, when the train leaves VC, walk up to the bench and sit and wait. When the train stops and the conductor moves, walk up to the train and climb aboard. You will then purchase a ticket in VC and return by the last train (Normally 5pm). Which is the perfect time to enjoy a nice dinner in our beautiful restaurant. If your already in VC and plan to do the train, we are open Saturday noon to 8:30 pm and Sundays 9am to 6pm. Come by for our new “Sunday Only” menu. Our Front Desk is open from 9 – 4 p.m. Check in is at 3 p.m. (7 days a week).

Any check ins after 4 p.m. keys to your room will be available at the bar (Thurs, Fri and Sat until 8:30 p.m.) or by special arrangement with management after that. ABSOLUTELY NO LATE CHECK-INS WITHOUT PRIOR ARRANGEMENT!

We impose a price adjustment for credit card transactions that is not greater than our cost of acceptance, there is an ATM in the great room if you prefer to use cash!
