Tex Weir continues the lecture series this Thursday night (October 5th) at the Gold Hill Hotel.  He will be doing Cowboy Songs and Poetry and telling Tall Tails and Brag Talk. Lecture starts at 7 p.m.

Tex Weir has earned his living as a musician and entertainer for over 40 years.  He is a lifetime member of the American Federation of Musicians Union.  He has worked with Hollywood stars as an accompanist or opening act.  He has worked for such major studios as RCA – Nashville and A&R studios in New York.  He was the director of the Texas Cowboy Poets Association from 1997 through 2000.

In his career Tex Weir performed for two American presidents, the Queen of England and 1,000’s of fans across the country.

His performance will contain: Songs with real substance and songs with absolutely no substance.  He will tell true stories and legends and outright lies and myths.  He will perform some trick roping and attempt at Spanish guitar playing.  He will have some embarrassing audience participation and will receive some possible applause at the end.

Please note that we have only 50 total seats for people to see the lecture.  Due to the crazy interest in the lecture series, and the fact that we are selling out each week, we will have to closely monitor the sign ups for this lecture series.

Dinner reservations are at: 5:00 p.m., 5:15, 5:30, 5:45, & 6:00 p.m.  We will let you know if we will need to revise your reservation time due to diner volume.
