Stanley Paher is the author of  Nevada  Ghost Towns & Mining Camps, which since its publication in 1970 has sold 68,800 copies.  Recently Paher followed  up his award-winning book with a companion Desert Atlas which features  about 1,800 destination points throughout Nevada and eastern California all located on 71 color  maps.

Paher’s powerpoint  show will draw from  these books as well as from his collection of  unpublished photos.  His voice-over  presentation of about 40 minutes will  conclude with a question and answer session.

Bio:

Native Nevadan Stanley Paher is owner of Nevada Publications which  in 51 years has  published 114 books  by 53 different authors. In 1982 he moved  permanently to Reno in an effort to  retire but admits he has not done a very good  job of it.
