2025 Lecture Series Continues – Thursday, April 3rd with David & Gayle Woodruff’s Historic Lecture  – “Scandalous Tales of Misdeeds, Misconduct and Transgressions”

We are pleased to continue the 2025 Lecture Series at the Historic Gold Hill Hotel!

Dinner starts at 4:30 p.m. and lecture starts at 7:00 p.m.

A 55-minute slide show.  Using extensive research, firsthand accounts and historic photos, local authors and historians David & Gayle Woodruff, recount a few of Western Nevada’s most contemptuous (and sometimes even droll) acts of lawlessness and villainy, and the improbable hooligans, sinners and victims involved. From the peaceful and pastoral Paradise Valley to the glitz and glamor of the great gambling dens, crime (sometimes) does not pay…but justice…can be fleeting.
