Lecture Series Continues – Thursday, May 19th with Corrado DeGasperis’ – “Capitalism Lost: The Systemic Road to Recovery”

Description: Mr. DeGasperis will present a current and compelling view of capitalism and how current practices, paradigms and short term views (greed and fear) are undermining society and how a more sustainable, systemic view of capitalism and our society must pervade for society, as we know it, to sustain and prosper. This presentation aggressively challenge current norms, including economic, monetary and accounting policies and usually result in lively debates with the audience.
Bio: Mr. DeGasperis is Executive Chairman, Comstock Mining Inc., since September 2015, President and Chief Executive Officer since April 2010, also a founding member and the Chairman of the Comstock Foundation for History and Culture, a 501(c)3, not-for profit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of Comstock Lode Historic District and the Chairman of the Virginia City Tourism Commission.
Lecture starts at 7:00 p.m. and costs $10 per person.
