Bonnie Matton – “Wild Horses of the Virginia/Flowery Ranges” – Bonnie Matton, head of the Dayton-based Wild Horse Preservation League, will give a presentation on the wild horses that roam the private lands of the Virginia and Flowery Ranges, including information on the history of the horses, laws regarding them, the agreements between the state and wild horse advocates and the current birth-control program designed to slow the growth of the herds and prevent roundups and horse slaughter.
