DESCRIPTION:Spirits of Christmas Past at the Gold Hill Hotel 2025 \nThe Gold Hill Hotel (as seen on Ghost Adventures and proclaimed the 8th most haunted location in Nevada) is hosting one night only Thursday December 11th\, an evening of fun\, thrills\, and chills celebrating our favorite holiday! \nDoors open at 6pm – As the fun begins we will be offering haunted holiday themed finger foods as appetizers throughout the evening.  The fun continues at 7:00pm as we pair 5 different themed cocktails (or mocktails) with 5 spooky stories told by local historians from the NNGH. You may join us for dinner prior to the event (though not required)\, we recommend making your reservation for 5:30pm or earlier\, call/text 775-847-0111. \nThe evening will continue as other specialty crafted themed cocktails will be offered to purchase and we are joined by the renowned Paranormal Investigators and Historians – The Northern Nevada Ghost Hunters – they will be offering readings as well as historical books for purchase.  The staff will all be in our ugliest Christmas sweaters and we encourage our guests to wear theirs also!  Best ugly sweater will win a prize to be announced. \nBefore or after the storytelling or during the intermissions\, quench your thirst and calm your nerves with a drink in the 150 year old bar\, as frequented by Mark Twain back in the day!  This is sure to be an evening to remember.
