DESCRIPTION:Lecture Series Continues – Thursday\, August 3rd  \nWe are pleased to continue the 2023 Gold Hill Hotel Lecture Series! \nDinner starts at 4:30 p.m. and lecture starts at 7:00 p.m. \nJoin these award winning Western Entertainers for a delightful evening of Music and Poetry from days of old!  Enjoy cowboy poetry\, music\, and campfire humor.  Family friendly entertainment for guests of all ages.  For more details about Ron and Krista click to view their event guide: \nhttps://online.flipbuilder.com/ktrj/sqvp/ \nBio:  Ron moved to Arizona years ago from the northern Nevada area\,\nwhere he performed at many cowboy poetry events in California\,\nWashington and Wyoming\, with regular performances at the Red\nMule Ranch show near Sacramento\, Ca. along with host Ron and\nMarie Scofield and the Old West Trio. \nRon’s signature poem “Mirror” was selected by a London\npublisher to be featured in a pictorial tribute book to the American\ncowboy. Two of his poems have been put to music offered on Cd’s\nby three different popular cowgirl singers in Arizona and Texas. \nIn Arizona Ron’s been featured twice at one of the largest cowboy\npoetry gatherings in the west\, the popular Cochise Cowboy\ngathering in Sierra Vista\, Arizona. His humorous stories and warmhearted\npoems of the range earned him the title\, “Gentleman\ncowboy poet”. His western humor centers around two Nevada\ncowboys\, Bucky\, and Nate\, who get into all kinds of trouble while\ntrying to do the right thing well\,\nmost of the time.\n \nLecture starts at 7:00 p.m. and costs $10 per person. \nCome early and enjoy dinner before the lecture!
