The is a lecture about the completion of the restoration project that Katie and Glenn did on the Union Hotel in Dayton.  There move in, and the ghost adventures they have had subsequent!  Should be an interesting update on this “long going” project!

Just to give you some background, here is an excerpt from the Reno Gazette article about it some years back:

When Glenn Hasbrouck and Katie Davies celebrate their wedding for the second time on July 23 with family, they’re celebrating their newfound love and their future. While they hoped it would have taken place at their recent property purchase, the building won’t be ready for at least a year.

The new owners of the Dayton Union Hotel, one of the oldest buildings in Nevada, just received the keys on June 13 and have begun cleaning out several large dumpsters’ worth of clothing, furniture and other items left behind in the house that have to be cleared out before repairs can begin.

The 2,900-square-foot property, in its current hotel state, has about eight small rooms measuring 8 feet by 8 feet, barely large enough to fit single or bunk beds.

“In 1865, that was a lovely hotel room,” Hasbrouck said. Check out: http://www.unionhoteldayton.com/ to see Glenn’s blog about the hotel progress!

Lecture starts at 7:00 p.m. and costs $10 per person.
